Happy Easter! Posted on 20 Mar 00:00

Happy Easter
Easter is a Christian holiday and festival celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion at Calvary.

The festival is also known as Easter Day, Easter Sunday, Resurrection Day and Resurrection Sunday.

The Festival is commemorated in two parts the first is the religious part and the second is the Feasting part.

Both center around doing the right thing and sharing this special time with our loved ones … it is a time to serve those we love for the spirit of Easter … for God is love.

Celebrating Easter!

Many celebrate Easter in their own special way, for those who are religious, here are some suggestions:

  1. Brush up on Easter story by reading the passages in the Bible and spend the day in prayer.
  2. Celebrate the Easter spirit with others by attending an Easter Church service.
  3. Share the Easter Spirit by helping and teaching the importance of the day.

Enjoy a Classic Movie

Easter Parade is a 1948 American musical starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire featuring music by Irving Berlin, including some of Astaire and Garland’s best-known songs, such as “Easter Parade”, “Steppin’ Out with My Baby”, and “We’re a Couple of Swells”.

It was the most financially successful picture for both Garland and Astaire as well as the highest-grossing musical of the year.

“This decorative Easter bread has whole eggs baked into it! Do not cook the whole eggs, as they will bake at the same time that the bread does. The eggs can also be dyed for extra color.”
