Prep: 20 minutes Yields: 1

1 Snyder’s pretzel twist (small and rounder)

2 Candy Eyes

2 mini chocolate chips

1 candy coated sunflower seed

1 cup Dark chocolate melting discs (for dipping)

½ cup additional dark chocolate discs in plastic bag for piping

  1. Use a fork to dip the pretzel into a small bowl of melted chocolate. Tap excess chocolate back into the bowl and place the coated pretzel on a wax paper lined tray.
  2. After coating pretzel, put the tray into the refrigerator to set the chocolate for about 5 minutes.
  3. With the coated pretzel on a wax paper lined tray, use a disposable piping bag filled with ½ cup of melted chocolate(or a plastic bag with a tiny bit of one bottom corner cut off) to fill in the eye holes and to pipe dots for the ears and nose.
  4. Add the chocolate chip ears, candy eyes, and sunflower seed beak. Return the tray to the refrigerator until the chocolate is set.
